Over there, the easiest job to get has always been Care Support work. It is an easy job, and a good paying one. But depending on which country or part of the country you are traveling to in Europe, it is nowadays becoming difficult to get this job, or get a good salary offer when you do not have previous training as a Care Support worker before applying for Care Support work over there. They also ask for evidence that you have done Care Support work before. You also need a UK reference letter (for those traveling to the UK, it is a letter from a Care Support company in the UK to show that you already have at least two months Care Support work experience under them in the UK).
These are obstacles when you just arrive the UK (or Europe) from Africa without a previous training in Care Support work, without Care Support work experience in Nigeria, without at least a two months’ Care Support work experience in the UK (and no Care Support company in the UK to give you a reference letter as evidence). If you are considered for the job without training or experience (and to be trained on the job), you would be paid far less than what you are supposed to earn per hour.
From our experience in the UK and knowledge of what obtains in Europe, we are making it easier for you to get Care Support work (and a better salary offer/arrangement) when you arrive the U.K (or Europe) from Nigeria (or from other African countries). We have online Care Support training for those who already have visa and preparing to travel to the UK (or abroad), for those preparing to apply for visa, for those hoping to travel to the UK (or abroad), and for those already in abroad outside Africa.
THE TRAINING:
- Online training (you can receive the training online (on your laptop, android phone etc.) wherever you are in Nigeria, Africa or the world).
- Practical experience plan for you in wherever you reside in Nigeria, Africa or the world.
- We have arrangement for your essential two months’ experience in the UK, and a UK company referral letter (essential for easily getting a care support job in the UK).
- We will also arrange for you to get a recommended DBS (general DBS) check result (UK police report essential for working as a Care Support worker in the UK).
- After the training, upon arrival in the UK (or abroad), after two months of stay (before securing an acceptable salary level job with a care support company), we will arrange for you to register as a qualified freelance Care Support individual that can be called to work privately without a care support company employment (to be making money before securing work with a Care Support company in the UK or abroad).
With these you would beat the usual obstacles and get a Care Support job in the UK (for those travelling to the UK).
In the UK (or other European countries) you may be required to undergo PMVA training before starting work as a Care Worker. It is about two days’ non-expensive training to be paid for separately over there (PMVA stands for Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression).
Our syllabus and certificate is equivalent to that of the UK’S NVQ Care Support Diploma. Employers in Europe and other countries are actually concerned with the content of your training syllabus, and your experience during and after the training. NVQ stands for National Vocation Qualification.
There will also be a referral from Careviv Nigeria on care support experience of working in our care support volunteer program (there will be further details on our volunteer program).
